Synopsis:

After giant robots attack New York City, ace reporter Polly Perkins (Gwyneth Paltrow) teams up with her old flame, Joe "Sky Captain" Sullivan (Jude Law), to uncover the mystery behind the attacks, and the disappearance of several of the world's most famous scientists.

Review:

Despite the criticism this movie has received, I liked it. The style is reminiscent of the 1930's serials, and obviously takes some of it's inspiration from Metropolis and the old Superman cartoons. The plot is a bit thin, and the acting is pretty average, but the CGI is just amazing. If you want to see a simple, fun, and entertaining movie, I suggest you rent Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow..
