Review:
Simply put, this is an excellent movie. Christopher Nolan does a wonderful job directing, and his name will be one to remember in the near future. Pair a talented director like Nolan with a cast featuring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, and Michael Caine, and there is no way that this movie can be anything other than good. Bale and Jackman both do a great job with the range of emotion involved in their characters, and Michael Caine also does well as their mentor. The non-linear narrative may be a bit confusing at times, but it works very effectively. Plenty of plot twists and turns will keep you guessing throughout the movie, yet there are also several clues throughout the movie, as to what is going on. All of the elements, the direction, acting, production, cinematography... all of it combines to make a great movie. After seeing it, it's clear why this one is currently #1 at the box office.
