Phone Booth

Year: 2002
Director: Joel Schumacher

Starring: Colin Farrell, Kiefer Sutherland, Forest Whitaker

Synopsis:

Stuart Shepard (Colin Farrell) is a slick New York publicist. Every day, he goes to the same phone booth to call his girlfriend, so that his wife cannot trace the calls. But today, he finds himself held hostage in the phone booth by a sniper (Kiefer Sutherland) with a high powered rifle. He has two choices... admit his lies, or be killed.

Review:

Don't expect much action in this movie. After all, how much action can there be when it revolves around someone in a tiny phone booth. That having been said, this movie does make a very good psychological thriller. The characters and plot are well developed, and the dialogue keeps the movie moving along. So, in short, if you like a lot of action then skip this movie, otherwise it is well worth a look.

My Rating:
6/10
