Synopsis:

IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is sent to destroy a genetically created virus called "Chimera". In order to do so, he must get past a gang of terrrorists, led by former IMF agent Seam Ambrose (Dougray Scott). This gang has already stolen "Bellerophon", the cure for the disease. With the help of international thief, Nyah (Thandie Newton), he must locate and infiltrate the terrorist group before they can find the disease, and infect the world with the deadly virus.

Review:

Not quite as good as the first one. Mission: Impossible 2 just didn't have the character depth that the first one had. It started off well, but just becomes a typical action movie by the end, with the usual gratuitous violence. On the plus side, the fight scenes between Hunt and Ambrose were very well filmed and choreographed.
