Review:
Many consider this movie to be a cinematic masterpiece, and I would have to agree. The story was compelling, and the acting is perfect, considering that some overacting is necessary in silent movies to convey the proper emotions and mood. Fritz Lang did an incredible job directing this movie, and the special effects are simply amazing for a 1927 movie. Metropolis is clearly a movie ahead of it's time, and definitely deserves to be called a masterpiece.
My Rating:
10/10
