Innocent Blood

Year: 1992
Director: John Landis

Starring: Anne Parillaud, Anthony LaPaglia, Robert Loggia, Don Rickles, Luis Guzman

Synopsis:

Marie (Anne Parillaud) is a vampire. After feeding, she permanently kills the victims to prevent them from becoming vampires. While she is feeding on a crime boss, Sal Macelli (Robert Loggia), she fails to kill him. Sal soon wakes up in the morgue, with a thirst for blood, and begins to turn his criminal gang into vampires. Marie and undercover policeman Joe Genarro (Anthony LaPaglia) team up to stop Sal and his gang.

Review:

Not a bad movie, but I have seen better. The movie does well at combining drama, action and humor, but it just lacks something. I think they could have done a bit more as far as developing the relationship between the vampire and the cop. Otherwise, the characters are fairly well developed. If you like vampire movies, they by all means, check this one out.

My Rating:
6/10
