Review:
This seems to be one of those movies where either you love it, or you hate it. Sure the alien invasion plot may be a bit overused, but I still liked this movie. The acting did leave something to be desired. Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith were good in there roles, but I thought Bill Pullman as president Whitmore was a bit flat. On the other end of the spectrum, Randy Quaid may have gone a bit overboard as Russel Casse, the drunk crop duster. The special effects were good for 1996. You'll need to watch this movie and decide for yourself whether you like it or not.
