Synopsis:

In 1969 Paris, the filming of a sci-fi movie, "Dragonfly" isn't going well. The director (Gerard Depardieu) has become obsessed with the actress playing Dragonfly (Angela Lindvall), and has been fired. A young American (Jeremy Davies), who is in Paris making a documentary about his life is called upon to finish the movie. He then finds himself becoming obsessed with Dragonfly as well, and the line between fantasy and reality becomes blurred.

Review:

This is definitely a movie that keeps your mind engaged. It is hard to follow at times, trying to figure out whether it is part of "Dragonfly", Paul's documentary of his life, or Paul's fantasy. Despite the disjointed feeling of this movie, it still follows a consistent plot. Overall, I think this movie is a mixed bag, and I'm just not qute sure whether I liked it or not.

My Rating:
6/10
