Synopsis:
As a child, Evan Treborn had suffered blackouts during traumatic events. As an adult, Evan (Ashton Kutcher) goes over the journals he kept as a child, and finds that he can travel back in time to change those events. He also finds that any changes he makes to his childhood cause serious changes to the present.
Review:
Despite some minor flaws, The Butterfly Effect is still a good movie. It's good to see that Ashton Kutcher is capable of serious roles, and I look forward to seeing him do more. This movie held my interest very well, waiting to see what Evan was going to try to change, and what effects it had on his present... the changes always had unexpected effects. For a movie about time travel, and how changes in the past affect the future, it wasn't quite as good as Back To The Future, or Frequency, but it is still definitely worth seeing.
My Rating:
8/10
