Synopsis:

Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) is an ex-cop who makes his money street racing in Miami. When he gets arrested after a race, he is offered a choice. He can go under cover to bring down drug lord Carter Verone (Cole Hauser), or he can go to prison. With the help of an ex-con friend (Tyrese Gibson) and undercover officer Monica Fuentes (Eve Mendes) they take Verone down.

Review:

To me, this doesn't seem to be a movie, as much as a showcase for street racing and hot cars. That isn't to say it was a bad movie, because it wasn't. There was plenty of action to keep my interest, and plenty of racing scenes, although I always cringe when I see the Mustang getting crushed by the tanker truck. This wasn't a great movie, but it wasn't bad either. If you like cars and racing, then you'll probably want to see it.
